now on filth is my life rec: UROSTAR - MORE MONEY FOR SCIENCES ! c-20 tape !


Ben the Urologist aka Uroben (he owned this name by working several years in urology service, and telling thousands of filthy stories about this experience) is a french underground grindcore veteran (does french mainstream grindcore exists? hmm... yes, but it sucks). He played as drummer and/or singer in many bands such as power violence Nelson Monfort Orchestra or acclaimed brutal death metal Whoresnation, or even playing saxophone in many weirdos project such as MHTO or FROM BOTTOM TO SCUM (released on FIML long time ago) and some nameless free jazz obscure projects.

By the time his oversized (and still growing) ego don't allow him to play with other musicians anymore, so he made that one man band, playing all instruments (drums/guitar, no shitty drum machine here!) and singing with his singular mongo's voice.

14 songs on this tape are kind of fast, fast, fast, raw, raw, raw grindcore with some gory touch, tin can sounding snare blast beat and drunk d-beats. 15th song is an Anal Cunt cover.
Reminds me a bit Cripple Bastard before they become a gay metal band, or the glorious Fläshenbrand (wow, namedropping now, fuck you lordxgonzo, fuck you !)

Honestly, it's one of , no, THE best one man grind band I ever listened to (well, you're not supposed to believe that one, just trying to sell a couple tapes you know...)
